Mahant Darshan Das Mahila College, Muzaffarpur is a consituent unit under B.R.A. Bihar university, Muzaffarpur. Founded by Late Mahant Darshan Das, a prominent social worker on 15th August, 1946. It is a premier women’s educational Institution of North Bihar imparting both undergraduate and postgraduate in Arts, Science and in Commerce upto Graduate level.
A number of vocational course sponsored by University Granis Commission and under self Finance Scheme is also running under the supervision University.
There are more then 6000 students admited to various classes in this institution ans secure better results. There are 55 well experienced teachers in Arts and Science Faculty.
There are three Girls Hostels in the college premises with a capacity to accommodate about 400
students at a time.
University has permitted to smart B.Ed. teaching in this College In near future, the College is going to start various career oriented courses (Food Science and Quality Control) with the permission of University and B.Ed. course as well. |
